I was lucky enough to visit Butchart Gardens in Spring when it was in full flower.  At times the scent could be overwhelming. There were many flower beds full of Tulips and an assortment of other flowers.  A lot of work has gone into creating and maintaining these beautiful gardens.

Flowerbeds:

The Sunken garden:

Japanese garden, which is a work of art:

The flowers, which are beautiful:

Totem poles:

Flowering Cherry white and pink

I no longer need to go to Japan to see the Flowering Cherry as they were flowering all over Vancouver and Vancouver Island.

  1. Great photos of all the gardens. Think some of your flower titles are incorrect -will advise you elsewhere. If I don’t put you right, Marylin will!!!
